What you have to know about alkalinization
A lot of people, doctors are working on developing a nutrition system which is appropriate for all of us. A lot them aren't pros. (You can see the enormous number of different diets with which people are tortured and which aren't workable.) Alkalinization has some value, but as I'll write it down a few times, you can't omit the rules of healthy nutrition and take care of only alkalinization. It can have serious results. Alkalinization has to be applied as a supplementary technique. So, to be successful, you have to know these two things: 1) proper nutrition and 2) alkalinization.
During the metabolism of the body, a lot of damaging substances are forming, and we also take in some undesirable substances with our food. They have different effects. We know that alkalis neutralize the acids, and this way forming a pH neutral environment. Stomach contains acids for the digestion, so acids are useful.
Accordng to the rules of alkalinization sweets aren't make the environment so acid, so they are considered good, but too much take-in from sweets can cause overweight and other serious problems.
The problem comes from our nutrition. While Man was hunting and fishing, he hadn't use preservatives, because he had eaten everything fresh. Our civilization today has gotten so 'fast' that we are eating food which is far from fresh or healthy. The human body hasn't adapt to these changes regarding the food. Man is overtaxing his body with a lot of 'poison' and other undesirable substances. The food taken in today is kind of incomplete. They aren't give so much substances to the body to recover itself. You can see allergies, overweight and other problems all around yourself.
A lot of food which taste good are make the environment acid or for some reason don't make any good to the body, but 'we always use to eat them'. We can think that if our grandparents used to eat them, and our parents used to eat them, then those are certainly healthy. Part of this is true, only they hadn't use so much preservatives and additives. Or they had use something else for these goals. Today we are eating different kinds of 'poisons'.
Healthy nutrition today means that beside the food bought we
take in other substances which are needed and missing from the food.
Such as vitamins, minerals, and of course the take-in of those in the
proper proportion. If we doesn't care for a moment for the improper
balance of the carbohydrates and proteins, then we have to say that the
missing substances are the cause of too much acids. So we got back to
the original problem. What is alkalinization? It is the stopping of
overacidism caused by the overtax of the organism, and the recover of
the proper acid-alkaline balance. But don't forget that beside
alkalinization you should also keep in the rules of healthy nutrition.
Alkalinization doesn't take care of other elements of healthy nutrition
such as fibres, colesterine, glycemic index (GI). Although beer and
vine support alkalinizitaion, you should watch out not to take in too
much from them. It is also true for sweets, honey, sugar, coffee and
tea. They have some value, but do not take in too much of them.
If we only take in foods which support alkalinization, then we can have serious problems with the body. If we can realize healty nutrition, then we don't have to pay too much attention to alkalinization, as this way the body can maintain its proper acid-alkaline balance. Only we have to take in the proper substances.
